Music for people in Japan, a new short doc by filmmaker Kevin Belli that I scored–and which premiered at this year’s Independent Film Festival Boston–will be screening at the Drive-In @ 30 Cutler in Warren, RI on July 16th along side three other films!

I’m pleased to report that the film will be having its world premier at Independent Film Festival Boston this month (May 6th – May 16th). This year’s program is entirely online and all films can be streamed by registering over at the festival site.

I provided some historical music arrangements for PBS | American Experience’s film, American Oz, detailing the life and times of author L. Frank Baum–the creator of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and other Oz books.

New Workshop Alert!


It’s slowly becoming clear to me that a significant part of my “whole thing” is my apparent compulsion to help people who don’t feel super comfortable talking about music feel more confident talking about music–and, therefore, more likely to collaborate in musical ways with their fellow travelers.

The World of the Wampanoag


Over the past month or so, I’ve been working away on the original score for a two-episode podcast series, produced by Ben Franklin’s World and the Omohundro Institute, entitled, “The World of the Wampanoag.”
