I feel like it’s fair to say that I roll deeper with Rosemary’s Baby than I do with possibly any other film that DIDN’T depict events taking place on Saturday, March 4th, 1984 at Shermer High School in Shermer, Illinois (60062).
I was looking through my folder of blog ideas this morning in an effort to find something awesome to develop into a new post* and came across an old entry entitled “Musicians from Another Planet,” the content of which consisted of the below, utterly incomplete list.
For years, I’ve maintained a list of personally-authored, would-be Facebook status-updates that, in a perfect world, I’d LIKE to post, but due to there actually being social consequences for the things we say and do, I don’t.
I don’t consider myself to be a Janis Joplin fan. I don’t dislike Janis Joplin; I just kind of don’t really consider her. The only reason she’s even on my musical radar is that I’m a Willie Nelson fan, which means that I’m ambiently aware of Kris Kristofferson and Kris Kristofferson wrote “Me and Bobby McGee,” a version of which was, of course, sung by Janis Joplin.

I attended a screening of Avengers: Age of Ultron in theater* seven of the AMC Assembly Row 12 movie theatre this past Sunday at 4:45pm.
