Squatters’ Rites

So, my pal, comic artist and homeowner Liz Prince, made the trip to Boston from the snowy hinterlands of Portland, Maine a few weeks ago and landed in my living room for a hang/screening of Gremlins.

Today, I’m releasing the EP Domain Vol. 2 (Electronic Fun-rangements of Civil War Songs), my second and probably/maybe final EP of Civil War songs.

Let’s Talk About Love

I think it’s fair to say that each of us can look back on our childhood(s) and remember times when we did our dang best to make sense of something, but, due to our limited understanding and experience with the world, just couldn’t put the pieces together correctly.

Look What’s Happened to Rosemary’s Baby

I feel like it’s fair to say that I roll deeper with Rosemary’s Baby than I do with possibly any other film that DIDN’T depict events taking place on Saturday, March 4th, 1984 at Shermer High School in Shermer, Illinois (60062).

The actual helping hand of my pal Scott.

Me and “Me and Bobby McGee”

I don’t consider myself to be a Janis Joplin fan. I don’t dislike Janis Joplin; I just kind of don’t really consider her. The only reason she’s even on my musical radar is that I’m a Willie Nelson fan, which means that I’m ambiently aware of Kris Kristofferson and Kris Kristofferson wrote “Me and Bobby McGee,” a version of which was, of course, sung by Janis Joplin.

Pride Comes Before the Fall

I added music to one of my all-time favorite Internet videos.
