I’m super psyched to be a part of the team that put together Comusica—the centerpiece event of MIT’s online commencement this year.
Conceived by Eran Egozy, Comusica is a track which “features the voices of more than 800 MIT class of 2020 graduates and alumni, stitched together into one of the largest crowd-sourced pieces of music ever undertaken.”
The vocal piece was composed by Evan Ziporyn and, for my part, I orchestrated, arranged, and produced the backing track to Evan’s composition.
Details on how to stream the event (happening this Friday at 1pm) are over on the commencement website.
You can read a recent Boston Globe article on the piece here!
